A Little About Me
A Little About Me
I love working with people of all ages and opening them up to the many possibilities that await them. I focus my life on learning about and loving my family. Through all the ups and downs of life, my passion for seeking the truth has resulted in the happiness that a healthy body, mind, and oneness of soul provide.
My Approach
How I Work With You
My approach is short-term, solution-focused, and is implemented with respect and compassion. I utilize a cognitive behavioral model with a behavioral activation component, along with a body-mind-soul integrative approach that speaks to the whole person.
Client Focus
Who I Work With
I work well with most age groups and recently have been working with women and families. I also work well with men and military-related issues, bringing sensitivity and understanding to the unique challenges that come with service and sacrifice.
Communication Style
How I Show Up
My communication style is warm and welcoming — direct and honest, with a great sense of humor. I believe that healing doesn't have to be heavy all the time, and that laughter can be part of the journey.
Reaching Your Goals
Your Goals, Your Path
I prefer that clients set their own goals. My role is to assist in clarifying and achieving them — walking alongside you rather than leading the way.
My Journey
How I Became a Therapist
The journey of becoming a therapist was not intentional. I got into this field only after a lifelong journey of self-discovery. Through pain, grief, and many detours — together with my family, friends, and nature as teachers — I have become aware of my true self and discovered the joy of wanting to share what I have learned.
First Session
What to Expect When We First Meet
We have a conversation getting to know one another. If we feel that we are a good fit, we would then proceed with an assessment. There is no pressure — just an open, honest conversation to see if working together feels right.
Ready to Start the Conversation?
Reaching out is the first step. I'd love to hear from you.
